- ➤ Transforming a 119-acre riverfront property into Riverside Park, Saugatuck Township secured a $2.5 million state grant from the Michigan Natural Resource Trust Fund to fund basic improvements including parking and trail maps, with future plans for accessible trails, a kayak launch, and a disc golf course. - ➤ Galesburg officials asked the public for help after Oak Grove Cemetery suffered turf damage when a vehicle performed donuts over the weekend, and the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office reported tire marks near headstones (none of which were broken) urging anyone with information to call City Hall at 269-665-7000.
