Greenleaf Hospitality launched a survey on Thursday, July 23 asking local fans what artists and events they want featured at the new 8,000-seat Kalamazoo Event Center at 411 W. Kalamazoo Ave., set to open in fall 2027. The 453,000 sqft venue will host WMU sports and over 230 events annually.
On Friday, Jul. 24, a fundraiser supported local athletes by benefiting the Red Arrow Golf Course & Kalamazoo Junior Golf Association; the event aimed to boost community sports opportunities in Kalamazoo.
