  • Kalamazoo is using a $480,000 grant to build three affordable 'cottage' homes by 2026 to address housing needs, using pre-approved plans to speed up development.  MLive
  • Westbound West Michigan Avenue between Drake Road and Century Avenue in Kalamazoo is closed until Dec. 23 for emergency sanitary sewer work, with detours in place for motorists and sidewalk access maintained for cyclists.  WWMT

  • A semi crash into a power pole led to a power outage in north Kalamazoo, with the driver fleeing the scene and causing road closures due to low-hanging wires.  WKZO
