- ➤ Don Hamming opened The OCB in August in the old Cracker Barrel building at 5581 S. 9th St. in Texas Township to show the space could work as a restaurant but he will close it on Dec. 31 and sell the property for $2 million due to rising testing costs and his health concerns — tests came back negative and he wants the final month to be a celebration of the restaurant’s success. This decision marks both the end of his hands-on venture and a new opportunity for someone else to take over the business. MLive
