- ➤ Indivisible Greater Kalamazoo officials say they will hold a 'No Kings 2.0' rally on October 18 from noon until 2 p.m. along North Drake Road from KL Avenue to West Main Street—participants should bring a sign or flag and a food donation. WKZO
- ➤ Hundreds of visitors from the United States and Canada are expected in Kalamazoo this weekend for the annual Stuart Historic Homes Tour that features eight historic homes with original Victorian architecture, live music and antique shopping stops. The tour will take place Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.—ticket sales support the event and will fund a new community park. WWMT

- ➤ Hou Jia is a new restaurant inside Western Michigan University’s student center that serves Taiwanese dishes like steamed pork dumplings and build-your-own bubble tea, and it held a soft launch in early September.
