  • On Saturday, Otsego’s National Dads of Foreign Service Veterans Post 56 organized a fundraiser for VFW Post 3030 to help veterans with mobility, health and financial challenges — the event featured a car show, live music and vendors — drawing support from the local community.  WWMT
  • Kenzie, a 3-year-old dog at the SPCA of Southwest Michigan, is looking for her forever home after being rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri. SPCA executive director Katie Timber said she would thrive in a quiet home—ideal for older children or a single adult.  WWMT
  • On Saturday, the fourth-annual Kzoo Latinx Festival celebrated Latinx culture at Arcadia Creek Festival Place as hosted by El Concilio. The event had live music, food vendors, local artists, and 15 nonprofits sharing resources — all to show the community's rich tradition.  WWMT

  • Two paddle boarders on Gourdneck Lake near Portage were hit by a tube pulled by a speed boat, with one taken to a hospital in stable condition and the other treated at the scene—first responders reached the boat via a private access point.  MLive
