- ➤ Officers responded to a shooting on Fox Ridge Drive near Alamo Avenue in Kalamazoo on Wednesday at 12:16 p.m.—at least one person was injured and the public was asked to avoid the area while police worked the scene, marking the second shooting in that area this week. WWMT
- ➤ On May 24, Commissioner Tami Rey was arrested for alleged domestic assault after she slapped and spat at her child’s father during a custody exchange in front of a police officer — the case is now under review by the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office. MLive
