  • Volunteers gathered in Kalamazoo on Saturday, June 14 at Mountain Home Cemetery to clean headstones and remove storm damage as part of the first of three summer cemetery clean-ups hosted by the Friends of Kalamazoo Historic Cemeteries — future events are planned for July 12 at Riverside Cemetery and August 9 at Mountain Home Cemetery.  WWMT

  • Kalamazoo's Bronson Park hosted a vibrant Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 14 — the free event featured live music, dance, and local vendors while the community celebrated the end of slavery in the U.S.  WWMT

  • On Saturday, runners competed in the 44th annual Kalamazoo Klassic 5K and 10K races—starting at Maple Street Magnet School field near Howard Street. The course ran along West Maple Street, Oakland Drive, Whites Road, Bronson Boulevard, and Crosstown Parkway before returning to the start—this longstanding event is the city's oldest running race.  WWMT
