- ➤ Jerry Harvey left his palm print in his cousin's blood at 1210 E. Main—evidence that led to him being bound over for trial on June 11 for open murder and felony firearm charges following the fatal shooting on Jan. 23. MLive

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A new education budget plan approved by the House committee yesterday cuts direct funding from public colleges such as the University of Michigan and Michigan State University—dropping per-student funds by over 70% and reducing state aid by $828 million from last year.
