- ➤ Parchment United Methodist Church held a Sunday service at 10 a.m. to honor veterans and raise awareness about daily veteran suicide. Church members handed out wristbands reading '22 veterans a day' and laid a remembrance brick ahead of Memorial Day. WWMT
- ➤ Sharon Robbins and the Westwood Garden Club completed a $200,000 project to overhaul the Blue Star Memorial at Riverside Cemetery—adding a garden, new flagpoles, and a ramp—so that today’s Memorial Day parade ends at a site honoring veterans and their sacrifices. MLive
