- ➤ The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts announced six exhibitions running from May through Feb., including Resilience — A Sansei Sense of Legacy, which examines Japanese American internment from a third-generation view. The museum offers free admission and extended Thursday hours. MLive
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Discover Kalamazoo secured full bond sales for a new $45-million youth athletic facility along U.S. 131 near Oshtemo Township. Jane Ghosh told county commissioners the bonds were sold last week (at slightly lower interest than expected) and that fees from hotel room rentals will repay the bonds over 30 years. WKZO
