- ➤ Portage Zhang Farmers Market has opened for the 2026 season at Portage City Hall until May 24, then moves to its new location at 125 East Centre Ave starting May 31. The weekly market offers seasonal produce, live music, food trucks + artisan goods until Oct. 11. WWMT
- ➤ The nearly 50-year CROP Hunger Walk — held since 1970 — took place last Sunday as dozens walked 1.1- or 3.1-mile routes from Trinity Lutheran Church on South Westnedge to downtown, raising funds for food programs. WWMT
