- ➤ WMU graduate student Samuel Marseille won $100,000 for Oneshot AI, a system easing language barriers in health care, earning grand prize at the Cultivate 269 pitch competition on April 10 in Kalamazoo, and he plans to expand the technology for law enforcement and other services soon. MLive
- ➤ Comstock Public Schools in Comstock Township is proposing a $23.7M bond to upgrade intercoms, HVAC systems, and repair roofs on aging school buildings. The ballot proposal coming up a few weeks before Election Day would maintain the current millage rate while addressing essential safety improvements. WWMT
