- ➤ Kalamazoo County commissioners will negotiate a contract with local artist Patrick Hershberger to kick off a mural project for the new downtown parking structure. They are set to act today on the contract, with work starting this month on 31 panels that showcase local heritage. WKZO
- ➤ In late March, Oshtemo Township updated its soliciting rules, which now require nonprofit registration to give law enforcement probable cause against kids and young adults suspected of reselling stolen candy + officials said the change aimed to curb rising thefts that had seen kids earning up to $90 per box.
