  • On Monday, April 6 the 25 1/2 Mile Road bridge over the Kalamazoo River in Albion Township will close for a full replacement project expected to last through July. A signed detour via M-99 will guide motorists as minor tree removal near the L Drive South Bridge prompts intermittent lane closures.  WWMT
  • Governor Whitmer declared an energy emergency on Thursday and eased fuel blend rules with Executive Order 2026-4 to lower gas costs; the order suspends a May 1 gasoline requirement in eight counties, benefiting nearly half of Michigan drivers.  WWMT
