- ➤ On March 30, a tree fell on a vehicle in Climax Township and killed three family members while injuring three others, with one in critical condition — deputies responded at 5:41 p.m. and the investigation continues pending family notification. MLive
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Drivers in Kalamazoo are warned by MDOT that a $7.8 million expansion project on West Main Street between Drake Road and US-131 is starting today and will run through August 29. The work will repave the road, add one lane for westbound traffic, rebuild the Maple Hill Drive intersection, change exit ramps, and keep at least one lane open in each direction as closures that can last two weeks are planned—further details will be shared soon.
