GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Sherwood Township officials approved a resolution on Monday night to ease rebuilding rules for tornado victims, allowing RVs on property with active permits and relaxed setback requirements. A Multi-Agency Resource Center will offer guidance this Friday from 5–8 p.m. at the Union City Senior Center. WWMT
- ➤ Over the weekend, firefighters trained on real downtown buildings as part of a program hosted by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety and the Training to Perform Under Pressure initiative; participants practiced rescue techniques and fire suppression in exercises funded by the Gary Sinise Foundation.
