ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Michelle McGillis and her father took cover under the kitchen table as an EF-3 tornado hit their Union City home on Friday, March 6 — first responders rescued them after debris damaged their neighborhood. WWMT
- ➤ Firefighters spent over nine hours using more than one million gallons of water to extinguish a blaze at Kalamazoo Metal Recyclers in the 1500 block of Kings Highway from 7:30 p.m. Monday until early Tuesday + city monitors reported that air quality returned to normal by 9:00 a.m. with no injuries reported. - ➤ A tornado on March 6 struck near Edwardsburg, causing the death of Silas Anderson, a 12-year-old spelling bee champion, and a funeral is set for today at South Bend City Church as neighbors rally support for his grieving family. MLive
