ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ An Amtrak Blue Water train stalled half a mile from the station on Sunday due to a mechanical issue, stranding 250 passengers in Kalamazoo for four hours until buses took them to their destinations (refunds are available from Amtrak). MLive
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A ceremony at Free Methodist Church on Sunday marked the return of its 1883 cornerstone, which had been purchased on eBay and traveled from Hortonville, Wis to Kalamazoo. Pastor Craig Watson said the stone will be kept on public display to honor the church's heritage. WWMT
